Why did they do away with the Stable/Workshop/etc..?

It takes twice as long to recruit troops..100 Axeman need to finish before we can recruit Cavalry.

I love the new look and some features, but they have also taken a lot out of the original game.

Actually it' still faster. A nuke can take 2-3 weeks on here (New update coming soon to decrease the time) compared to the 4-5 weeks on TW1

This is not TW1, in creating a new game for a new audience there will be differences. It is not about doing away with something but creating a new strategy.
