Downgrading buildings w/ Cats?

Buildings have different HitPoints(HP). Say I want to downgrade a building one level do I need catapults = HP of the building?

or does someone have a link to more information?

Tell you what you guys put your examples and a member of the TW2 moderation team will simulate these for you. So if you want to know how many catapults it take for a certain building I will make sure your request is completed.

Please verify to make sure :) I'll make sure to post screenshots of each battle report.

OK, for example I want to drop the Market from 21-20. Market Lvl 21 has 20 hit points according to the wiki. Does it take 20 Catapults to drop the Market to Lvl 20.

Since its one of your own villages, assume 100% Morale, Lvl 20 Wall. Just want to know if a Catapult does 1 HP of dmg? Since each building has different hit points, is it more efficient to send Catapults in waves than to send in mass? TW1 the answer was always in waves,

If you could tell me for 26 to 25 and also for 28 to 25, plus will there ever be an in game simulator? I use a 3rd party one currently but at times it seem very inaccurate and it doesn't allow to take into account paladin weapons.

26-25 what?
28-25 what?

Buildings have different Hit points, I believe it makes a difference on the number of Catapults you need.

for HQ on both, but I actually meant 29-25 and 26-25 some of the villages I have been taking have real high HQs

I am curious myself on this. I wish it was more clear how much hp and how much damage cats did.

Now if you only send cats in waves with a level 20 wall you would have to send at least 35 cats:

Attacking a village with no troops and a level 20 wall it will take 100 catapults to lower a Headquarters from a level 26 to a level 25.
Attacking a village with no troops and a level 20 wall it will take 500 Catapults to lower the Headquarters from a level 29 to a level 25.

@Coolnite7, Thanks. So Catapults do 1 dmg/1hp of a building.

@Ladyhawk, Are those absolute min numbers? HQ 26 is 33HP+50% bonus (Support Columns) = ~50hp. With Coolnite7's example, he sent 15 extra for wall losses. If 50 Cats could do 50 Dmg to HQ26, what is the Minimum catapults you need with lvl 20 wall? I would guess its close to 72-75.

To take down a level 26 HQ with just cats with wall 20:

Simulation: 775 Catapults, level 20 wall, no defensive units, varying luck, level 3 church.
Successes: 7% luck or higher to take level 3 church to level 2.

Simulation: 2,500 Catapults, level 20 wall, no defensive units, varying luck, level 3 church.
Success: 4% luck or higher to take level 3 church to level 1.

Simulation: 3,800 Catapults, level 20 wall, no defensive units, varying luck, level 3 church.
Success: 8% luck or higher to take level 3 church to level 0.

Simulation: 750 Catapults, level 20 wall, no defensive units, varying luck, level 2 church.
Success: 9% luck or higher to take level 2 church to level 1.

Simulation: 2,500 Catapults, level 20 wall, no defensive units, varying luck, level 2 church.
Success: 7% luck or higher to take level 2 church to level 0.

Simulation: 750 Catapults, level 20 wall, no defensive units, varying luck, level 1 church.
Success: -2% luck or higher to take level 1 church to level 0.

I'll update this will screenshots, lower cat numbers, and lower luck percentages as I get around to it. xP

Edit: Keep in mind, these are just the values I've found. These are by no means the absolute lowest.

@Tokano, thanks for the imput. Looking to see what the Minimum catapults for specific Hit Points of buildings. Since you can't just Demolish buildings from the HQ.

@Coolnite7, does it matter if you send a few hundred troops to escort the Cataupults, say 200 axes or 200 swords?

95 is the least amount regardless. The only thing sending troops would do is decrease your losses. so instead of 5 cats lost you would lose 2.

Do you guys know if theyre gonna bring in the demolish feature at any point?

I believe this feature will not be implemented on TW2. I will verify this to make sure.

I was trying to find the minimum for the church, which is arguably one of the most important buildings. Someone who is good at math should be able to work with what I was able to provide to get bare minimum numbers. I'm unfortunately not even able to multiply without a calculator, so I'm obviously not going to be able to do it. xP
