Tribe size should be limited to 50....TW1 did this on a few worlds and it made the game more of a battle as no one was fighting 20 members against 160 members
Necroposting...but might as well say have you seen US27? Seems they are proving 25 members vs the world can be won.

If you keep this point system and just made it to where the player villages give 2 points and barbs give only the one still it would make things more interesting, as a tribe is at war they will be looking to gain points through fighting for player villages but a tribe who is either winning or losing can still gain points from barbs. We will still experience barb munching but it will be strategic now and no penalty for taking a barb.

Yes, I know it CAN be done, but the fact is when you're a 20 member tribe up against a 160 member tribe you begin to call into questions why even put in the effort and a lot of the smaller tribes quit or merge into a bigger tribe. What I am talking about by limiting the size of tribes with this new end game is giving everyone at least a chance of winning or placing in the top 3

As mentioned before there isn't anything we can do about tribe sizes because it ties in with tribe skills and we can't mess with the coding.

I can understand not messing up the coding.......but it makes me think that this version was created to attract mass recruiting tribes and cater to them exclusively while keeping down people who actually want to play the game correctly.

adjust tribe skills with tribe size, why does it have to be such a problem? is just a change of a number in the coding... Tribe size base = 50 (currently 100), increase member limit +10 with each skill point assigned to "Strength in Numbers" (currently +20)...

They should. They're losing players, they need to make tweaks or simply dedicate themselves to casual gaming instead of MMORTS games.

The biggest us world had 86k players. The last world has 3k players. What makes you think they care about losing players..

The coding of the game can't be touched, it can cause the entire game to crash. This has been mentioned numerous times before. We are off topic of the thread, as this thread was meant to discuss the new end game.

That's an easy answer....new end game sucks unless you belong to a mass recruiting tribe. It gives larger tribe a distinct advantage and encourages those larger tribes to go in and barb noble without actually playing the game. The concept is decent, but without being able to fix it and allow fair play across the board it should be abandoned and rethought.

This is not true. The coding had to be touched a whole heck of a lot to implement the victory points system, and somehow they managed to get that done.

Nothing major can be done to to the coding of the game, the tribe skills are embedded in the games coding from my understanding. So with that being said, since we just keep going around in a circle about the same topic, this thread will be closed.
