Night mode turned off

Night mode seems to have been turned off with the latest update. Way to kick things off right after BP ends.

Is this a bug or a feature? It would be helpful if the game would be consistent from day to day.

I spoke with the other CMs in regards to this and Night mode has been disabled on purpose. I apologize for the inconsistencies folks.

Can we ask why you would turn off a feature that has always been present on regional worlds? Seems like an incredibly shitty way to treat your player base. Had a few people in my tribe who were factoring in the bonus in defending last night and they would have loved to know in advance.

I'm not really sure to be honest. This was something the Development team on the back-end did; nothing I had any hand in doing.

Ok. Well tell them that their back-end in more ways than one then.

Really, it is just consistency that we need. It has been turned on the past few nights. Our first night out of protection and I made my plans based on it. The change turned out to be fairly costly. I don't mind adjusting strategies - but to do so we need things to stay one way or the other. So... would you mind asking the devs what the plan for NP is on this regional server? Personally, I would like to see it implemented (the occasional good nights sleep would be swell). But even more important is I want it to stay one way or another.

Night mode is a 100% buff to defense during certain hours, (midnight -8). Its normal to have it on regional worlds since presumably everyone is in the same time zone. What makes it worse for this world is that the account sharing feature is disabled, so even if there was someone in tribe not from the US, they couldn't watch accounts while the main player sleeps. The only possible reasons the devs would disable night mode for a regional world is too see if it generates crown buys or because they like to be dicks to the playerbase. Leaning heavily towards the second option.

If you have a coplayer or have the kind of life where you can wake up at 3AM to dodge troops, then I could see why you wouldn't like it. That's why they have international servers.

Looking at the world configs it seems that night mode was actually intended but the hours were never set. Can you confirm? Maybe devs can fix the hours.

If you decide to include the Night Mode, please make sure there is more info in the Wiki. At the moment all it says is:
"On some worlds, there is a night bonus active for a couple of hours each day. You will also see this notification if you turned off the night graphics in the settings"
Nowhere does it tell you what it does! (Reading ScejulLath's post is the only place I found that tells me that "Night mode is a 100% buff to defense"

Ok so is the night mode on now, and how do you check. I had a tribe mate hit someone between midnight and 1 CST and the report showed 950% to 4000%(assuming this is a glitch it would have been 95% to 400%) it showed a night bonus, then I hit between 2-3 cst and it showed normal 100% to 200%(wall). I can't find any info in game or on the wiki. Would be nice to know!
