Sleep

I've recently been speaking with some people who need less than 7 hours of sleep per night. They often report feeling weird sensations before falling asleep (a numbness in certain parts of their body). I am currently studying cognitive science and find this fascinating. If there are any natural short sleepers on here could you tell me how many hours of sleep you need per night, what locations you feel them in, and your biological gender? I may consider doing a study on this if the sensations are reported often enough among short sleepers, and tribal wars seemed like the perfect place to find a few.

Thanks!

Either way would work. A PM might be preferable, but I have no strong preference.

Thanks!

I sleep on average 5 to 6 hours a night and I don't generally experience numbness before I sleep, but I fall asleep quite fast, so i'm told.

Thanks for the responses. Some don't experience the numbness. (I'm not sure the exact percentage because I don't have enough data) but it does appear to be atypical. I know of 3 that don't. (4 including you). You are probably an atypical short sleeper in other ways too I imagine. There are some fascinating personality traits that are derivative of it.
