I wanted to suggest that you create some new officers that could be purchased with crowns. For Example, what about a medic with Advanced Medical Training, who can save 15% or 20% of an army. Or, how about a "Army Chaplain", that lets your army take the "faith" with them and lets them attack at 75% or 85% (without a church in province). What if the Tactitian had a "wagon train" and boosted your support army speed bu 250%, or a "Caravan" that allowed attacking walking troops to ride along at 75% of calvary speed"
