can you abandon a city ?

does it even make sense to abandon a city , lets say because its way to small ? can you have unlimited cities in this game ? does every city you conquer cost you the same as all the ones before ?

im asking because i played a similar game and there was not only a limit how many cities you can have (7), but each additional city was exponentially more expensive to conquer then the one before

There is no way to abandon a city. There is also no limits to the cities you can conquer, however, it does get more expensive. Each noble costs more coins than the last one. It's not a giant increase, but an increase.

And if you find you don't want a village you can kick it to a Team mate by taking your troops from it and allowing them to conquer it.
You will get the coins you used to make the noble but not the noble itself.
