so i have no idea whats happening with the rivers on this game.. but take a look

Rivers are supposed to mark Kingdom borders, and Kingdoms hold about 20 provinces, so it tracks that rivers are supposed to follow the province lines that form the Kingdom borders, however we know that provinces aren't optimised and Kingdoms aren't complete, hence the crazy, crazy rivers.
