I searched the forum, and unless I missed something, I'm surprised no one else has suggested it.
Clearly many people have become upset with the fact that there is no server time. I've heard ideas of implementing server time, or being able to pick your time zone, but both of those are still pretty hacks.
What we need is a clean and simple bbcode object, where the user enters the time in their time zone, and it is automatically translated into the particular time when when read from a different machine.
(Also only partially related. But we should be able to post timers and count downs as well. These wouldn't have to translate and therefore be universal.
